Drawing From Life and speed drawing: Charcoal

For these pieces, I wanted to practice using a medium I have very little experience with- charcoal. I was not concentrating on the details of the drawing but more focused of familiarising myself with the way charcoal interacts with the paper. I enjoyed how it smudges and how it changes appearance with pressure. I'd like to utilise charcoal more in my future works. I gave myself a limit of 5 minutes for each drawing.
